Just as the Internet is being transformed by Web 2.0, consumerism within Consumer-Directed Healthcare is being altered by new engagement models. New resources and tools are helping consumers become empowered and engaged, helping them to make better healthcare decisions and providing new means of supporting behavioral change leading to a healthier lifestyle. These resources are designed to reach a broader population and drive greater healthcare efficiency.
